News letter from Megumi
A news letter from Japan before heading for Bangladesh.

Dear friends

How are you doing? I am enjoying the most comfortable season in the year in Japan. After some typhoons in September, we are enjoying sunshine and cool wind.  Finally I got the visa from Bangladesh embassy.  So I am going to fly to Dhaka on Oct.14th.  I don’t  know how it is going in Bangladesh, but I know that the LORD is preparing everything for me.

After I came back to Japan on June 26th from Toronto, I visited 10 churches in Kanto(the area near Tokyo).  2 of them are the churches which I visited 1 year ago, so I was glad to see the people again, who had been praying for me.  I also joined the west JECA’s summer camp which was held in Okayama. (JECA: Japan Evangelical Church  Association)  There I could meet many people from Kinki (The area near Osaka), Shikoku, Kyusyu, whom I haven’t met before.

I worked as a doctor once a week for 3 months.  I worked at the outpatients department in the morning and I worked in the operation room in the afternoon.  I hadn’t worked as a doctor in Toronto for 8 months, so it was a good training for me.

I met many friends during the stay in Japan.  We met and ate together, and talked a lot.  They were the wonderful times.  I thank God for that He gave me these friends.

Now I am packing the baggage.  The place I am heading is Dhaka, not Toronto.  So I have to think about items which I might not get in Dhaka. But I am enjoying this work.
