Dear Friends,

How are you doing?  After cold winter (The temperture was only 13°, so it must not be  so cold, but it is cold for Bangladeshi and also us foreigners.  It is because of the clothes, which is not warm enough, and the housing, which doesn’t have heating system.), the spring came, and already the temperature rise up more than 30°.  We started to use ceiling fan.

In the middle of December,  I was told that the head of the hospital are worrying about me.  They have a doubt I could work by myself after Dr.B, who has been working here for 5 years, leaves here.  So they decided to do the trial.  During the trial I can’t ask help to Dr.B.  So about one month I had to do surgery, I had to work in clinic and ward without Dr.B’s help.  But the Lord helped me.  The operating room staff also helped me.  I could do operations which I haven’t experienced before.  Especially I could treat the young man, who had necrotizing fasciitis on his left leg, and was in very bad condition.  He needed 5 times debridement ( Operation for removing necrotic tissue) and 5 times skin graft.  After these operations, he could go home.  I hope that he got to know that God helped him.

Now I got more confidense than before.  But even now there are a lot that I haven’t experienced in Japan.  In Japan if I don’t know how to treat the patient, I could refer to another hospital.  But here, the poor people can’t afford to go to big hospital.  So we need to treat patients as possible as we can.  Now in the ward, there is a lady who got  severe pelvic fracture after tarffic accident.  In Japan I could refer this kind of patinent to the orthopedician and ICU.  When she came to the hospital she had hypovolemic shock.  But fortunetely she is stable after infusing 8 litter normal saline and 1 litter blood.  I hope God helps her also.

Please pray for

1.    I can get the ability to work here.

2.    I can speak and understand Bengali and also English more.

3.    Thank you for that I could get visa.

In Jesus,
